Taking Care of your Pots

Taking good care of hand-made items is always important for maintaining their condition. Naturally, something made by hand doesn’t have the same hardiness as factory-made items, so may damage more easily depending on how it’s looked after. Though all the homeware items are able to go in the dishwasher, washing by hand is always best when it comes to hand-made pottery, to avoid breakages. Trying to wash pots after they’ve finished being used and drying them upside down is a good way to maintain a good condition and avoid staining over time, although as many of my pots aren’t very light-coloured it’s quite unlikely that they will get stained :-)

Packaging and shipping

The cardboard boxes I use are made from at least 60% recycled materials, the packing tape is 100% recyclable, and the bubble-wrap and packing peanuts are 100% biodegradable. I do occasionally also use re-used packaging materials which may not be recyclable, but I’ll let you know about all that in the note I write with every order.

I always try to have orders ready for sending off on either the same day, or day after an order has been placed, to get your new pots to you as quickly as possible. I use Royal Mail to send out all my parcels, you can choose whether you’d like 1st Class Signed for or 2nd class delivery on the shipping page (for UK orders). If you are based elsewhere in the world and would like to place an order, please send an email with the items you’d like to purchase + I will work out the shipping costs to your country !

If you happen to live near to the studio in Winchmore Hill, and want to pick up your order in the shop, please let me know in the ‘message about your order’ section at checkout and I can refund the shipping costs :-)

Returns

Returns are only accepted for items that are lost in the post or damaged upon arrival. As all my items are one-off pieces, I am unable to send any replacements, but if an item is broken on delivery please get in touch either on Instagram or via my email address, and I can issue you a refund.
